In such a situation you have to change the pot. With this pot change you have to remove dead leaves, flowers and extra shoots. Remove old soil media and fill new pot with a new medium. Use liquid fertilizer just after re-pot. After that you can apply liquid or solid fertilizer in two weeks periods. Use fertilizer with a little less amount. This prevents excess fertilizing.
