Grapes the historical taste and cultivation
Grapes have a recorded history of 2400BC. Grapes has categorized under Vitaceae family and the scientific name is Vitis unifera. Grapes available all around the world in many varieties and many colors. And it uses as fresh fruit and dried fruit. 

70% of all grapes crops of the world is used for vine industry. 27% consumes as fresh fruit and 3% use as dried. France and Egypt are the vine leaders. Grapes cultivation needs a dry climate and rich loam soil. Egypt is the mother land of grapes. 

To cultivate grapes, soil should be with a good water drain. And also cultivators must have a good understanding and dedication. There are few good types to cultivate. One is Cardinal and it is reddish in color and gives crop in 2 1/2 months. It is with a good smell and good taste. Other type is Israel Blue and matured fruit is black blue in color. Type Black musket is Black after rip and has a great taste. Forth type is Isabella and leaves are rough. Therefore it resist and sustainable for fungi. But this fruits are with some sort of sour taste. Whole bunch not rip at once. This can cultivate easily and more suit for vine production. 


Main thing is run the creepers correctly and prune correctly. A good crop can get from those. To plant dig 1m x 1m x 1m pits and fill with compost, soil and recommended grape fertilizer 500g. Watering needed. There must be a dry climate in planting time. Keep 4m distance between two adjacent plants and 3m distance between two adjacent rows. If grow to bush type distance is 6 x 6 ft. A good grape creeper gives crop for about 30 years. Grapes prune for twice a year and can get crop for twice a year. Crop can collect 2 1/2 months after prune. A dry climate must have to collect the crop. 

Grapes are a good medicine for tuberculosis. 100g of grapes have 79.2% water, 0.5% protein, 30mg of phosphorous, 0.3% of fat, 16.5% carbohydrate, 28mg of calcium, 5mg iron, 1% vitamin C and 7mg of Calari. Grapes have glucose and absorb to body quickly. Rich of potash salts and therefore good for cancer patients.
