Add a Marqee Using Pen Tool in Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop normally we use marquee tools to select an area. But some marquee tools come with Photoshop is not suit with me. Therefore I use a method, something different to make a selection. I use Pen tool.

Step 1
Create a new layer below the layer which you want to make selection on. Then Press P to take the Pen tool to action. Then simply click around the border which you want to select. Reduce the distance between two adjacent clicks if you need a more fine selection border. After selecting complete, finish the selection by clicking on the beginning node.

If you want to remove patches inside the selection or add another patches to the selection do it by the modify shape area tool set. (See the picture below).

Step 2
Ctrl+Click on the shape layer in Layer palette. This will make the marquee around the selection.

Step 3
Then select the layer you want the selection to apply. Press M to do marquee options (I.e. Layer via Copy) or you can do anything.
