Some times in graphic designing we have to use gradient fillings. Gradient filling means fill some space with multiple colors with a continuous change between them. Photoshop has previously created color gradients. But when we need to create our own color gradient, this post shows you how to do that.
As the first step select the pixels you need to apply the color gradient. Then click on the Gradient Tool or press G on keyboard. There are two tools in this tool set.
One is paint bucket tool and the other is Gradient tool. If it selected the paint bucket tool you have to press Shift+G to shift to the Gradient Tool. They you will see the property bar of the gradient tool below the menu bar. Click on the gradient preview of the gradient picker at property bar. Then you will return a dialog box. You can add more colors to the bottom line of the color gradient and drag to positioning well. Change the color of a color stop by clicking on it and click on the color box below it.
You also able to save the created color gradient by using the Save... button on the top right side of the dialog box. This will open the File Save dialog box and allow you to save the gradient as a file. If you need to use a previously saved gradient, you have to do is click on the Load... button and select and open it.
