Fruits are green in color and change to orange color when riped, rounded in shape, about 4.5cm diameter. Pericarp of riped fruits can be removed very easily. Inside the fruit there are 7-10 sections of juice filled hairs and 7-15 seeds. About 5-10ml juice can extract from one fruit.

Seeds, layering and budding is used for propagation of Calamansi. When budding we can use citrus or lemon as stock. One Calamansi plant gives crop for about 1 and half years. Crop is between 200-400 fruits per year. Crop can be collected all over the year. You can use pruning to control the height of the plant. Pruning also helps to easier crop collecting.

Plants came from seeds are growing some higher than others. Removing branches and twigs up to 1 1/2 feet beyond the soil, we can create a more beautiful plant. Calamansi gives a good crop not only in dry zones but also in wet zones.
